A blessed 2008… … …

- Papa and Mama celebrated their 2008 New Year here in Dubai. It was their 2^nd time.

- Got pregnant for the 2^nd time! Kuya na si Gio…

- My sis got pregnant too!

- We were tasked to handle the YFC Dubai Cluster…

- Received increments and bonuses from work.

- Gio’s eye operation was successful…

- We celebrated Gio’s 4^th birthday and Thanksgiving with his Lola Gay…

- Eric was promoted… … …

- Gio started to go to school as KG-1…

- We moved to our new flat!

- Four babies have been added to our family… Nathan (Guz & Irene), Paul (Ate Tin & Toto), Marcus (Shiego & Aymeric) and Joelle (our little princess)…

- My best friend got married (Grace & Burrie)…

- Nanay Gay is here again to spend her 1^st Christmas and New Year here in Dubai…

- We celebrated the baptism and christening of Joelle…

A blessed 2008 is ready to say goodbye, and we are hoping for a prosperous 2009 to say hello… To all of you, thank you for sharing your happiness, sadness, love and life. May God bless all of you abundantly… I never mentioned here those times that we were sad or down (yes we have!- we are not perfect) but we considered them as challenges in our lives. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Joelle - On her 2nd month

She turned 2 months last 17 December 2008.

So tired and so cute...mwah! He is coming here to spend Christmas with us....=)

On her 1st month...

It was her 1st month yesterday (17/11/2008).

Tita Len prepared spaghetti and fried chicken.

Cake, ice cream and a dozen of roses was from her Daddy (Eric), and of course a fast photo shoot coz Joelle was very cranky last night.

2. very sensitive to sounds, she's a quiet baby like mommy

3. she likes to be cuddled, while hearing the hum of the kindergarten graduation song.

As for Daddy and Mommy - we're so thankful and grateful on her 1st month of good health. Truly God blessed and showed us his love by entrusting us to take care of his children (Gio and Joelle).

Johnne Elmynna Sagum Fajut

Johnne Elmynna or "Joelle" was born on October 17, 2008 at Belhoul Speciality Hospital, Dubai, UAE at 7:54 am.

She was the 2nd gift from God to our family. She weighted at 3.28kg & measured 50cm on birth. A healthy baby girl and so adorable.

We would like to thank all of our friends who have prayed for a successful & safe delivery.

The waiting game...

I am 38 weeks and 4 days and still very much pregnant. I think this little fellow inside me wants to stay forever in mommy’s tummy. I don't know what is going on inside, but it seems that she's enjoying, hehehehe. How I wish she will come out soon, but there is no other signs that Labor Day is coming soon!

Everything is ready for her arrival – Her crib, the baby journal, hospital bag, feeding bottles, her pink clothes, nappies and of course daddy’s camera to capture her great moment… Daddy and Mommy’s friends also are waiting for her big day, anyway only God knows when and how to surprise us!

On his 1st day at school

Time is running so fast, my little boy is taking another milestone in his life, and that is going to school as kindergarten 1.

Yesterday, 5th of October was his first day at school (Pristine Private School), it was a success..coz we thought that he will cry nor he will not let me leave him alone but we were wrong. Our son enjoyed his first day at school and his first school bus ride.

As I am writing this blog, I really feel happy coz my little angel is starting to build his own life. For our son, Rico Angelo... daddy and mommy loves you so much! and we want the best for you, God bless you son!

TANG inumin mo hwag MILO!

It's very disappointing! I thought that everything was fine as I still did not take my leave, but it seems that they don't want me to go for my MATERNITY LEAVE..... grrrr... no one, as is no one here in the office is letting me go.... I planned to take my 60 days maternity leave plus my 12 working days annual leave ( if ever i did not use it now it will be forfeited in 2009) but they are refusing! They want me to wait for my LABOR DAY? as for me, I hate to surprise them that one day I will not come and spread the news that I already delivered the baby and did not handed over my works properly...I don't want them to feel miserable when I am away nor call me from time to time if they need anything! Oh..............Tang inumin mo hwag Milo... I need an ice to cool me down!

We have been quiet for a while, this is because we were busy moving out to our new flat...in a day, everything has changed, God surprises us! Thank you Lord for this very wonderful gift.

Surprise!

He is Awesome!

on my 29th week....

I was on my 29th week of pregnancy to my 2nd child....and i went for a prenatal check yesterday... my two men was with me to see the li'l princess Joelle.

As we approached the ob's clinic, we were so excited coz we will see her again and it was her daddy's 1st time to come with us...during the sonogram scanning, this li'l one inside me moves a lot and we could not get a clearer picture of her, she was even opening and closing her mouth, smiling while putting her hands on her face...i believed she was really shy with her daddy, the doctor continued to search for a clearer picture of her face..we even noticed that not only her hand was covering her face, it was even her li'l foot..hahahaha, imagine she was that naughty to hide and finally we got a better photo of her face, the doctor printed it out....and we got a piece of white blank photo paper it did not print at all....hehehehe...

but one thing for sure....She's a GIRL...

We are grateful to God that we are both in good health....8-10 more weeks and she's coming!!!

It was taken during our Summer Weekend Get-Away at Hotel JAL in Fujairah, UAE. Eric (my hubby) was the one who took the shot, and it was all his ideas. I'll post more on the preggy photos, on my next update.

Gio (our first born child) is a very loving and adorable, at the age of 4 he is ready to have another baby in the family. He never forgets to give his good night kiss to her baby sister Joelle, even she's still inside my womb. I really thank God for all of them...A loving and a very understanding husband, an adorable Gio and and soon to come my little princess Johnne Elmynna (Joelle).
