My grade 2 son, Gio got A+ and A in all his subject except for the Arabic. He got D
:(
We dont know how to help him, but friends advised us to find a tutor and we got one. She is perfect for my boy!
My son can read, write and pronounce the Arabic Alphabet perfectly. During his last
arabic spelling test he got full marks.

I believe that the rain has stop and the storm is slowly subsiding.
I have seen the sunshine this morning, when I received an email from my husband and afterwards a happy chat with my father. Thank you Lord
for helping us to be still during the storm. God bless you all!

My life has been always happy and blissful, more than 3 years ago, we decided to share the blessings that God is giving us. We reach to the point that are financial status are well manage.
We choose to share our blessings by sending two (2) students in University. We got one from a far relative of my husband which we still did not meet until today and one who is a close relative. A relative of my father in Manila and a grand daughter of my Auntie Mommy Mareng, was one of the scholarship recipients. (sister of my father).
We regularly send money to Philippines for their school fee and daily school allowances.
After a year of schooling, I need to find out a new baby sitter as I got pregnant for the 2nd time. My parents selected the best lady they have known and it was the mother of my scholarship recipient from my town. We happily took her and trust that she will become happy staying with us. We also taught that it will be going to be of big help to their financial status, she will be able to save money from the salary which she will receive from us and at the same time, enjoying life here with us.
Everything was ok in the beginning, after a year, when my parents visited us here for a long vacation, I heard bad thoughts that she was telling my mom. She was telling that we were not treating her as a relative, that hurts me a lot. It is not about the bad thoughts, it is about to whom she’s telling. She was telling this to the very close person to me, to my mom and to my sister? Something might be wrong, if she could tell all of these to them, what more to other people?
I did not confronted her, thinking that it would make the things worst and added to it, we just renewed her visa and paid a big amount for it. I kept mum about it. But I never been happy since then knowing that someone inside my house has an ill feelings towards us. We decided to find another housemaid, and made ourselves ready to tell her that we will be sending her home after the contract and we did.
We send her home in good faith, giving the last month salary in full although she served us for only 13 days, and bought her some stuffs which we know she’ll be happy.
Last week an incident happened, My father and my ex-baby sitter had a misunderstanding about a small thing and it ended up to confrontation. The argument did not stop there, my ex-maid uttered some bad thoughts about me and my family here, she even spreading the news that we were maltreating her and we always threw bad words to her and even us (me and my husband) is always saying bad words to each other.
I couldn’t believe that someone that we helped, eat, sleep in my own house would do this to us. I felt sad, but my husband said, she is not worthy for you to think. Let us wish her good luck and may she receive the same or even more blessings than what we are having right now.
You can’t please everybody and never expect anything in return.
What I learned from this is, never be tired of reaching out or helping the other people in need but do not give your full trust so you will not be abused.
God bless to all!

My Blessed Life…
Good day everyone!
I just want to blog and make this day a memorable one.
Despite of this disease that I have, God entrusted me to have 2 kids.
Gio and Joelle, were conceived without any medical intervention. I tried with Gio but I was already pregnant before taking those medications to correct my ammenorrhea.
With Joelle, she just came one day and grew inside my tummy...
and now, it was confirmed thatI have Polycycstic Ovarian Syndrome and that caused me to have a Hormonal imbalance, but God has been so generous to give me a miracle of life, and these are my kids...
They are the miracle inside a miracle...and it is one of my blessed life.
Thank you Lord. Indeed your Love is enough to create these blessings!
He took an almost full day of examinations at Zayed University here in Dubai, last April 17, 2010. His feedback, he messed up with his written exams and he misheard the questions on the speaking ability.
So, we need to wait for 13 working days to receive the results. The weekend before receiving the result was our CFC Middle East Conference and it was held in Abu Dhabi. On May 1st, we are supposed to stay until after lunch but Eric decided to go home after breakfast thinking that he could make it before 12 noon in order to get his results. Then he said that he will get it the next day. Sunday, May 2, 2010, he called me and said that he got his envelope and to call him after 15 minutes as he is about to go inside the church and pray before opening it. (it was like our board exams) Then finally I got him on the phone. He told me that passed all the categories and his marks are all at high levels. Thank you Lord. To God be the Glory.

It was March 22, 2010 when Eric received a call from the Catholic School where we want Gio to attend his junior years. He was selected to take the entrance examination and we were so happy to know that. At least he has a big chance. By the way, this School is the only Catholic School here in Dubai. Eric and I want to take advantage of the Catechism schedule which will lessen the schedule of our very busy weekend. Added to it, the school fee is much much cheaper than his present school.
April 10, 2010 came and I was so anxious and nervous about this, I know that he has a lot of competitors, from different schools and different nationalities. He stayed there from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon. We asked him how was it, and he answered us promptly that teacher said he was very good!
April 15, 2010, Eric got a phone call from an old high school friend which happens to be the father of one of those kids who took the entrance exam, the school called him and inform him that their son has been accepted and admitted. We did not receive any call on that day. I searched on their website and found out that we will receive a call by April 17, 2010.
April 17, 2010- it was Eric’s schedule to take the IELTS examination, no phone allowed, we decided to exchange our mobile phones as we were expecting a call from the school. I did not receive any single call on Eric’s phone, but after Eric’s examination he checked my phone and got 5 missed call from the school. I was desperately trying to call back but only a recorded message was the one answering. Oh God! I need to wait for another day. By next day, I called up the school early in the morning and they refused to give me the result and they said that they will call back. Two hours had passed and no one is calling me. I am getting inpatient, (whew) after that I tried again, and then this time they replied, “Saying that, we regret to inform you we can not accommodate him for this school year.” Then I replied back, ok, thank you.
I did felt sad a bit but no tears came out. As Eric and I prayed about this, if this is His will, let it be done. But if not, may we learn to accept and be grateful for his plans. May God be Praise!
